1) Sustainable Theological Education -- (Joint AAR/SBL Session)
Honoring Some Giants among us!!
(Saturday, November 17 from 1:00 to 3:30)

This session has two purposes: to honor these leaders  for bringing us this far, and stimulate a discussion on how to green theological education in the future. This is all aimed at launching a national campaign to help bring this about. Each honoree will give his or her perspective on the future of sustainable theological education.


2.    Reception for Sustainable Theological Education
(Saturday, November 17 from 7:00 to 8:30)

Continue the discussion at an eco-friendly reception sponsored by: the Center for Respect for Life and the Environment (CRLE), the Forum on Religion and Ecology (FORE), Drew Theological School, Fordham Press (publisher of Eco-Spirit ) and Continuum (publisher of Earth & Wo rd).

Next Step: We are seeking to develop a network of faculty in theological education that will help us set up a clearing house for information about greening seminaries. We invite you to send us information/ news of what is going on at your seminary/ institution. Also, please give us the names of other contacts (names, titles and email addresses) from your school and from other seminaries (divinity schools, schools of theology, etc).
